New technology has arrived at some local Long Island train stops.

Several LIRR stations have unveiled new ticket machines offering more flexible ticket options featuring 10 different languages.

Riders have the option to scan the barcode of a previously purchased ticket to pull up a similar purchase again.

They will also provide change in bills rather than coins.

Officials say the stations that have not already received them will get the machines next year.
