Tragedy a world away has New Jersey officials raising security at Synagogues and other Jewish events here at home.

Two men opened fire on Bondi Beach in Australia during a Hanukkah Service over the weekend killing 11 people.

Gov. Phil Murphy, Governor-Elect Mikie Sherrill and other New Jersey lawmakers have condemned the horrific act.

Although there is no specific threat to any New Jersey locations, security has been raised here in response.
