August has been anything but summery. The first nine days were below average temperature-wise and we still have yet to see any rain. This is about to change.
Storms will rear up in the heat and humidity of tomorrow. There is a very small chance that any one storm could become severe, but the chances of that are very, very small. Still, if any storm contains lightning, it will be dangerous enough.
Thursday, we can expect a weather system to move through with slightly more organized storms to parade through with more aerial coverage. Thursday is the day to be more cautious during outdoor activities.
Right now, the weekend looks wonderful. Fair weather resumes with plenty of sun for both Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures will be in the upper 80s to low 90s.
