Another Barnes & Noble is ready to welcome customers in Suffolk County Wednesday.
The new bookstore will officially open its doors at 10 a.m. in Veterans Memorial Plaza in Commack.
The grand opening celebration will include a ribbon cutting and book signings featuring authors Jen Calonita and Sarah Beth Durst.
This location, in the former Party City space, near Michaels, is just two miles away from the Jericho Turnpike Barnes & Noble that closed in 2024.
The well-known chain has opened 10 stores in New York over the last three years, with four more anticipated later this year.
"As a lover of books my entire life, I'm truly happy to be part of bringing a new Barnes & Noble to the Commack community,” Store Manager Melissa Cope said.
Beloved costume character, Biscuit the Dog, will also host special storytime events throughout the opening weekend.
Premium and Rewards Members will earn double stamps on all purchases made between August 5th and 9th at the Commack location and all customers at the grand opening will have access to exclusive deals, such as $50 off any NOOK device.
