A Windsor Terrace neighborhood is divided over a rezoning application permit that would allow construction of a 13- to 19-story apartment building.
“We’re happy the way it is," said Robert Berrios, a Windsor Terrace resident. "Everybody knows each other, and we do favors for each other, and we help each other.”
The proposed building is on Prospect Avenue.
Those in favor say it will provide more affordable housing options in one of Brooklyn's most expensive areas.
Those against say the building will be four to five times taller than existing houses on the block, and those affordable options being provided aren't enough.
