The neighbor of a man who was identified in a body parts investigation says he was always willing to help.
Police identified the man as 46-year-old Lutalo Henderson.
News 12 previously reported a burned body was found in a shopping cart in Yonkers earlier this month. Further investigation led to the discovery of human remains in a Longwood apartment.
News 12 spoke to a neighbor who say they were shocked by Henderson's death and that he was always willing to lend a hand.
"I had just come back from getting groceries and doing laundry. He asked if he could help me, and I said it was OK. But he insisted that when I came back with my second load of groceries, he was already waiting to help me bring it up to my apartment," said a neighbor.
Henderson's sister took to Facebook to express her grief over her brother's death.
"I am not OK, but I'm staying strong for my family. I love my brother dearly. Part of me feels missing and I'm angry. I pray they find the person who did this to him. May God have mercy on their soul," said his sister.
