Nearly 50,000 people on Long Island lost power during the storm.
Some Long Islanders are still waiting for their power to come back on.
There are still some outages mainly in Nassau County and on the east end in Suffolk County.
PSEG Long Island says it responded to hundreds of outages as well as 150 downed trees.
News 12 spoke to Katy Tatzel from PSEG Long Island who tells News 12 crews are working on rotating 16-hour shifts to try and restore power to everyone today.
