The U.S. Military Academy at West Point is preparing to graduate its class of 2026 this weekend.

About 1,000 cadets will be commissioned as second lieutenants in the United States Army on Saturday.

The oath ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth is set to serve as the commencement speaker.

Graduation events are already underway.

A parade for the class of 2026 was held Friday morning. The ceremony also featured a demonstration from the cadet parachute team.
