Communities across New York City will celebrate National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 4, with dozens of events designed to strengthen relationships between residents and police.

There are more than 70 events happening across the five boroughs, featuring activities such as bounce houses, barbecues, face painting and other family-friendly entertainment.

Among the highlights, the 72nd Precinct in Sunset Park will raffle off a free bicycle, while the 90th Precinct's event at Rodney Park in Williamsburg will feature the Brooklyn Public Library's Bookmobile.

All the events are expected to have NYPD officers and personnel meeting neighbors in the area they serve.
