With fuel costs rising, some Nassau lawmakers are calling for a gas tax holiday. The Democratic minority says the gas tax holiday, the same one passed in 2022, would help Nassau residents temporarily save at the pump. They're pushing the legislature to bring the bill to an emergency vote at next week's session. Other counties in New York have already made the move.
