        Nassau County Democrats file complaint over taxpayer money used for Trump rally

        Former President Donald Trump's rally was safe and secure, thanks in part to a large Nassau County police presence.
        But Democratic and Republican lawmakers are arguing over who should foot the bill.
        Nassau Democratic legislators are contending the Trump campaign should pay the over $1 million in estimated overtime cost, rather than the county.
        They filed a complaint with the FEC Thursday, saying this type of contribution "must be reported and properly accounted for."
