6h agoJersey City officials announced that multiple roadways will be closed on Thursday, July 4 for Independence Day celebrations.
The closures will start at 8 a.m. and last throughout the day.
Residents will still be able to pass through, but anyone who does not live in the area will have to follow the police checkpoints to designated areas.

People are expected to line up on Montgomery Street to watch the Macy’s Fourth of July fireworks along the Hudson River.
