Firefighters were on scene Wednesday morning after a utility pole and transformers came crashing down in Hackensack.

In a video sent to News 12, an explosion can be heard, and flames are seen engulfing the cars parked along the curve on Prospect Avenue.

Officials say as many as six cars were destroyed.

Still no official word on what brought the utility pole down or if last night's storms played a part.

At this time, there are no injuries reported.
