A fire gutted an apartment complex in Monmouth County Sunday night.

The fire broke out at Arbor Terrace just off Greens Avenue in Long Branch around 9:15 p.m.

Flames ripped through the roof of the homes as firefighters worked to bring them under control.

About 30 people are currently getting help from the Red Cross.

There is no word on a cause or where the fire started.
