A 30-year-old Port Jefferson man found with 3D-printed gun parts was arrested at his home on Friday, according to police.
Authorities say they searched the residence of Tyler Schmalenberger while investigating a previous incident where he was accused of pointing a handgun at an acquaintance.
Numerous 3D-printed weapon materials were recovered, including firearm receivers, a magazine, a Glock style spring kit and AR components.
Schmalenberger has since been charged with menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
