Breezy winds and mixed skies of sun and clouds were found all across the region this Sunday.

A cool feeling was felt whenever the winds came through, but that didn't stop a lot of people from wearing the shorts sleeves and shorts on Sunday.

Memorial Day will see the comfortable summer clothing being worn by all as really sunny weather settles in.

High pressure will move in, which will make the winds back down to a more comfortable and enjoyable level.

There will also be mainly sunny skies through the day with a few clouds passing by from time to time.

The humidity will also be at low level.

The sunscreen is recommended to those who will head to the beach as the UV index is expected to run high.

Tuesday has more nice weather on the way but there will be a gradual increase in cloud cover on the way.

The high pressure won't be sticking around for long. It will step aside as a system moves towards the Northeast.

Cloudy skies will continue to thicken up overnight Tuesday into Wednesday.

The clouds will slowly bring the showers to the region through the day.

Scattered showers can be expected before Wednesday is done.

There will be on and off shower chances through the rest of the work week.

Unlike last week, with the showers will hang around Wednesday and Thursday, but there won't be a large cool down in temperatures.

Temperatures will be a few degrees cooler than average, into the 60s to low-70s through the rest of the work week.

The shower potential starts to fade away through the weekend, as the system pulls away.
