WHAT TO KNOW:
- Foggy with morning clouds
- Sun this afternoon for Nassau and Western Suffolk along the north shore. Cool and breezy for south shore and out east.
- A few storms arrive late in the day for Nassau and Western Suffolk. One or 2 could be strong.
-More clouds on Sunday with a stray morning shower and more widespread showers later in the day.
-Wet Monday and Tuesday.
TODAY: Fog this morning, then sun and clouds in the afternoon in Nassau and Western Suffolk with cloudy skies for the beaches and out east. Breezy afternoon wind from the south at 10-20 mph. A few evening storms expected in Nassau and Western Suffolk. Highs near 80 away from beaches and east, near 70 for coastal neighborhoods.
TONIGHT: A lingering storm before midnight, then humid with areas of fog on Sunday morning. Lows near 60.
SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy and less hot, but still humid. A shower in the morning, then a few showers and storms in the afternoon. Highs near 70.
SUNDAY NIGHT: Rain is likely and could be heavy at times. Lows near 60.
MONDAY: Cloudy with periods of rain possible. Localized flooding is possible. Highs in the low 60s.
