More than 2.3 million bottles of Ricky Joy Sour Crush Rolling Liquid Candy are being recalled because part of the packaging can detach and pose a choking hazard, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The recall involves 1.85-fluid-ounce bottles of sour liquid candy dispensed through a rollerball top. CPSC says the rolling ball can detach, posing a risk of serious injury or death from choking.

No incidents or injuries have been reported.

The recalled candy was sold individually and in packs of three or 12 in blue raspberry, strawberry, green apple and watermelon flavors. The Ricky Joy logo and the words "EXTREME SOUR" and "SOUR CRUSH" are printed on the bottles.

The products were sold at H-E-B, Forman Mill and other candy stores nationwide and online at Walmart.com, CandyFunHouse.com, RickyJoy.com and other retailers from January 2023 through May 2026. Individual bottles sold for about $3, while multipacks cost between $13 and $32.

Consumers should stop using the recalled candy immediately, take it away from children and contact The Ricky Joy Company for a refund. The company will provide a prepaid shipping label to return the recalled product.

The candy was imported by International Trade Imports LLC, which does business as The Ricky Joy Company, of Cumming, Georgia, and was manufactured in Colombia.
