Sunday marked the last day of early voting.

More than 189,000 Brooklynites have voted since early voting started on Oct. 25, according to the Board of Elections.

Some voters told News 12 that they came out early to avoid the lines.

"It gets packed down here. The line would be all the way down the street – and I do not want to stand here that long for that," said Erica, of Canarsie.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 4. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m.
