Voters in Montclair delivered a split decision on a pair of questions about public school funding.
All the ballots from the March 10 election are now counted.
Voters approved a one-time $12.5 million tax increase. But voters also rejected a second question, which would have imposed a $5 million permanent tax hike.
The Montclair school superintendent says she's grateful for the short-term support and understands the financial impact on families.
