Residents and businesses in Montclair have been receiving scam emails from individuals claiming to be the planning department, according to officials.

The message includes a fake invoice requesting payment by wire transfer. Authorities say the email is not from the Township.

Police urge residents to not reply, send money or offer any personal information.
