A car was engulfed in flames following a car crash in Orange County.

The accident occurred around 2:30am on Cedar Cliff Road and Hala Drive in Monroe.

Police say the car crashed into a telephone pole, then caught on fire.

There is currently no word on the condition of the occupant of the vehicle.

Police on scene confirm they found at least one person trapped inside.

Cedar Cliff Road was closed for several hours while police conducted their investigation.
