A coastal flood advisory is in effect for parts of Ocean and southeastern Burlington counties until 3 p.m. Tuesday.
After a mild and windy day, our Monday evening will feature clear skies and very cool conditions as winds weaken tonight into Tuesday. Tuesday expects the fire risk to continue as we are still quite dry. However, it will not be as elevated due to the lowered winds on Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures will hold near the low-60s with sun and clouds taking turns throughout the day.
Wednesday night, we are tracking a low-pressure system that will approach the region bringing rain/gusty winds overnight Wednesday into Thursday morning. This will mainly impact the Thursday morning commute, so be prepared for a messy one to start the day.
We could see a solid amount of rain which will be much needed but will not fully solve our fire weather concerns but definitely will help. There are some shower opportunities into the weekend. However, as of now, it will bring a minimal amount of rain.
