A wallaby that escaped from a Williamstown farm has been found after a daylong search.
The marsupial named Rex slipped out of his enclosure at Lots of Love Farm Monday night. A wallaby, which is a type of marsupial, is a smaller relative of the kangaroo.
He was found Tuesday night hopping around the local Williamstown Walmart parking lot, where he had been spotted earlier in the day, according to the farm.
His escape captured the attention of many in the area, with a drone company specializing in locating missing pets joining the search.
Lots of Love Farm describes itself as an animal sanctuary housing rescued animals ranging from goats and sheep to birds and bunnies and of course, a wallaby.
