After a fierce competition, the winners of the Miss New Jersey USA and Miss New Jersey Teen USA pageants have been crowned.

Middletown’s Katarina Lengyel was named Miss New Jersey USA after finishing as first runner-up in last year’s competition.

Makenna Wayman of Chatham earned the title of Miss New Jersey Teen USA.

The pageants have been directed and produced for more than 30 years by Debbie Miller and Cindy Provost, both former Miss USA state titleholders.
