A Milford man was arrested for firing a gun through the ceiling of his apartment earlier this month, according to authorities.
Andrue Rosado, 26, of Naugatuck Avenue, was arrested after a police investigation found that he unintentionally fired two rounds while attempting to clean his weapon in the second-floor residence.
Two young children were in the home at the time, but no injuries were reported.
Both rounds did cause property damage, and police seized all weapons from the residence.
Rosado is facing two counts of unlawful discharge of a firearm, first-degree reckless endangerment, and risk of injury to a minor.
He posted a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Milford court on April 17.
