A garage fire in Merrick has displaced four people.

Nassau fire officials say the Merrick Fire Department was dispatched at 6:44 a.m. to a home with a garage on fire on the first floor.

Roughly 60 firefighters helped bring the fire under control in about 30 minutes.

No injuries were reported, according to fire officials.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Nassau County Fire Marshal Investigators and the Nassau County Police Department Arson Bomb Squad.
