A memorial has been set up outside Long Valley Animal Hospital for one of the two victims shot and killed by a New Jersey state trooper.
The Hunterdon County Prosecutor's office says Trooper Ricardo Santos is responsible for the deaths of 33-year-old Lauren Semanchik, a veterinarian at the animal hospital and 29-year-old Tyler Webb, a volunteer firefighter.
Prosecutors say Semanchik reported Santos had been harassing her after they broke up in September. They say Santos followed her home last Friday.
Officials say Webb arrived at her home in Pittstown shortly after. That's when neighbors reported hearing gunshots.
Santos then took his own life, according to officials. He was found dead in his car at Johnson Park in Piscataway over the weekend.
Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office.
