Brooklyn residents voiced pressing issues at a community meeting with Mayor Eric Adams at P.S. 109 on Tuesday night.
The family of Christian Josiah Montrose, who was killed in a shooting in Canarsie over a year ago, pleaded for an end to gun violence to protect young lives.
Adams also highlighted local youth leaders, like Capt. Jaylon Blair, who has been with the NYPD since he was 9 years old. He shared Blair's commitment to being a positive change in the community.
