The thunderstorm caused trees to fall onto power lines on Saturday night, creating outages in the Bronx.
Video from Citizen taken in Throggs Neck shows a tree that came crashing down on the cross-Bronx expressway a little after 8:30 p.m.
Con Edison says a power outage happened in the same area. About 24 customers were impacted as of Saturday night.
It was not immediately clear if there were any injuries, when the tree will be removed and when power will be restored to impacted customers as of Saturday night.
