The man accused of setting his family home on fire and sparking a manhunt in Pleasantville is now in custody, according to police.
James Vistola was arrested Thursday after a community tip led officers to him near the Hawthorne rail station.
The 32-year-old faces charges including arson and assault for the incident at his family home last week. Authorities say he had been released on parole just days before the fire.
While police searched for Vistola the morning of the incident, schools in the district delayed opening as a precaution.
