Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who stole from a Commack gas station and assaulted a worker on Jan. 5.
Investigators say he entered the QuickChek on Jericho Turnpike around 5:20 a.m. and took multiple items before attacking the employee.
The victim reported the incident to police and brought himself to urgent care for treatment.
His injuries were not considered life-threatening, according to authorities.
Suffolk police released images of the suspect.
