Police are searching for the man who they say shot a 44-year-old woman in Fordham Heights.
Gunfire rang out just after 8 p.m. on July 26 near Webster Avenue and East 1287th Street.
According to the NYPD, the woman suffered a gunshot wound to the right leg.
Paramedics took her to St. Barnabas Hospital. She is expected to recover, according to police.
The alleged gunman took off running after the shooting. Police released images of him on Wednesday.
