A man is facing charges after the windows at Red Bank borough hall were smashed Friday night.

The borough posted photos showing four front windows damaged by a man using a five‑foot metal pipe. Officials say the incident happened shortly after 9 p.m.

Police say the man then swung at officers and tried to escape. They say a Taser was used to take him into custody.

Repairs at borough hall are underway.
