Police say that a man was shot in the back in Wakefield.

The incident happened just before 9 a.m. near Gunther Avenue and Pitkin Avenue. The 59-year-old man victim was taken to NYC Health+Hospitals/Jacobi and is expected to recover.

Sources say the shooting happened after a disagreement between neighbors.

Police are looking for a man wearing all black clothing who ran from the scene.
