Police say a man was shot in the arm in Wakefield.
Shots rang out just before 1:30 p.m. Friday at 756 East 223rd St.
The 42-year-old was struck in the forearm, according to authorities.
EMS took him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where he is expected to recover.
Police established a crime scene on East 223rd Street and down the block at 3918 White Plains Rd.
