A Lindenhurst man currently on probation was arrested after multiple guns were found in his home.
Suffolk police say investigators conducted a search of Todd Pinell's, 54, residence at 7:29 p.m., in accordance with his conditions of probation. During the search they found 22 guns behind a false wall in his basement.
Investigators recovered eight assault rifles, 10 semi-automatic handguns and four revolvers, as well as multiple ammunition feeding devises.
Pinell is charged with multiple felony weapons charges. He will be arraigned in First District Court in Central Islip on March 7.
Pinell was on probation for previous weapons charges.
