        Man on mission to thank all NJ first responders five years after near tragic accident

        Palmarini met with first responders in Secaucus this week and wants to thank all New Jersey first responders for what they do day to day.

        A man who was saved by first responders is now showing the ultimate gratitude for those who kept him alive.
        Dawson Palmarini nearly died in a motorcycle accident in Toms River nearly five years ago. His accident left him with a traumatic brain injury and in a four-month coma. He made it back to full strength.
        Palmarini met with first responders in Secaucus this week and wants to thank all New Jersey first responders for what they do day to day.
        Palmarini and his dad have now met with over 50 police, fire and EMS departments.
        The cops in Secaucus made Palmarini honorary Chief For a Day.
