A man was found dead near the area of Yankee Stadium.

Police say officers found the 37-year-old man around midnight on Tuesday in front of 1015 River Ave. He was unconscious and not responsive.

EMS took the man to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln Hospital where he could not be saved.

The Office of the Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death. Police are continuing to investigate.
