A 34‑year‑old man was injured Sunday after two people tried to break into his home in Mill Basin, according to police.

The incident happened at a home on Mayfair Drive South, where the victim told police that two individuals attempted to force their way inside.

During the confrontation, the pair struck him in the head with an object, causing bruising and a laceration.

EMS treated him at the scene.

Police say the two individuals fled in a Mercedes‑Benz G‑Wagon and a Rolls‑Royce before officers arrived.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
