Render Burns, 40, is accused of
opening fire in front of 1440 University Ave. just before 11 p.m. on Sept. 7, striking and killing 43-year-old Curtis Quinones, just steps from both men's homes.
Police say Quinones suffered a gunshot wound to the head.
