A man has been arrested for a public lewdness incident that happened at a store in Nassau County over the summer.
Detectives tell News 12 a 5-year-old girl was shopping with her mother at the Marshalls on Sunrise Highway in Freeport on July 29 when she saw the individual expose his genitals.
The child immediately alerted her mom, who then contacted the Freeport Police Department.
Following an investigation in conjunction with the Nassau Police Special Victims Squad, Rory Anderson, 32, of Freeport, was found to be responsible and arrested without incident.
Anderson will be charged with public lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child when he is arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Friday.
