All right, here we are. We made it to Friday time for Main Street, Connecticut, a chance to showcase our local towns and cities and all they have to offer. And this week we are in Norwalk getting ready for Super Bowl 59. News2 Connecticut's Mark Suddall is at Stu Leonard's for us? All right, what you got going on, Mark? Becky, I got some chicken wings. You know that 7% of the chicken wings that are sold for the entire year are sold this weekend. Chef Rich Dibble is with us this morning. Thank you so much for being with us. Pleasure to be with you. So what kind of sauces do you have here at Stew's? Well, every year for the Super Bowl, we highlight the Two teams, so I gave you the Kansas City barbecue. I'm kind of tired of using that one. And this one right here is a garlic Parmesan sauce. OK. So we're going to do is we're just gonna take this and dump this right into the it right in there, OK, spread it around a little bit. We're gonna, and then you're just gonna take and toss it back into you. Oh, OK. He toss it, hopefully not on myself. So how many of these wings will you sell? We will sell over £10,000 of wings just on Saturday and Sunday. That's insane, insane. And this weekend we have a sauce and toss event going on which will highlight both of these sauces each store picks two or three other sauces to kind of highlight. Buffalo will be in there. I know they didn't make the Super Bowl, but they do make the table every year. So what else do you have here that the folks are going to pick up? I mean, you can't have a Super Bowl party. Dip guacamole is our number one dip. We make our guacamole in-house, smash our own avocados in our produce department. You can't get a fresher. You can't get a fresher guacamole. Delicious, yes. And then we have our salsa is always a good one. And if you can't really make a choice, just grab the 7 layer dip. It's got a little everything in it. OK, I will, yeah. And then these, these are what you got here? Well, I don't think there's really anything better right there. That's just a hot dog wrapped in our own. Um, croissant, so it's our twist on a pigs in a blanket. And, and then I love it and, and this is, this is what the Kansas City barbecue right here. Yeah My mouths it's OK. Becky, all right, so what is the other one for the Eagles? You've got Kansas City. Which one are you gonna pick? right, which one is your favorite? Kansas City or this Kansas City is really good, is it? Yeah, I'll take a bite of this one for you. OK, there you go. Oh look at that. You got it on me, Rich. What is it? It's Friday. That means it's time for Main Street, Connecticut, a chance to showcase all our local towns and cities have to offer. This week we are in Norwalk. Hey, we're getting ready for Super Bowl Sunday. News Connecticut's Mark Sudall is Stu Leonards. He has more for us, Mark. Hey Becky, yeah, we're getting ready for the big Super Bowl last hour here at Stew's we told you about some of the amazing food, including those amazing chicken wings. Now we're going to talk about some refreshments that you can have with your food, and Blake Leonard is here. She is Stu Junior's daughter, and she runs the wine and spirit shop here across the street, and you're also a sommelier, is that right? Well done. I'm not sure what that is. What is that? You know what I basically got to taste a lot of wine during my education, but I haven't, but you basically today what you see on the table, this is our starting lineup for starting line, but these are really all of the things that we see really pick up and sales the Super Bowl. You know whether you're going Chiefs or Eagles, but we have a couple of things to play off of both teams. OK, kind of balance it out. We have the Kelsey brothers garage beer right here, really nice kind of light, easy to enjoy beer right there. So that's more the Chiefs. Yeah exactly that's now over here Yingling is actually the oldest brewery in America, right, and this is rew right in Pennsylvania and that's the Eagles choice of beer. So however you want to play you can bring both to your Super Bowl, but you have you can play both teams there. Now what also is so popular is any prepared cocktail, so kind of in the same way that be so easy to enjoy and open prepared cocktails are so popular surf side this has no bubbles in it. It comes in tea and lemonade, no bubbles like delicious, OK. And then you have you have you have the non-alcoholic brewing in Milford the owner grew up coming to Leonards when he was little, so we love supporting him, but you know I always say if you were to close your eyes, you wouldn't know that these are non-alcoholic. That's how good they taste and of course we're coming off dry January off a dry January, you know what, today you're probably going to always have someone at a party who's not drinking for whatever reason, so this is a great, a great way to go. And then this is our goat our greatest of all time is standing goat beer wine and it's a cabernet. It's super easy to enjoy but you get that nice cabernet fruit that's right that's you know really juicy and delicious, but this is a great crowd pleaser. So and you still have some food here. We have some food left over for our last hour. Yes, we do. Well these are all the great things that you're going to be eating while you're drinking here and watching the game cocktail franks and in these homemade stews, croissants and then of course our wings, which are always a hit at Super Bowl. But you know, really everything on the table is just easy to easy to eat and drink together. Becky, can I get you something here, maybe a sandwich or maybe go right ahead. All right, Blake, go for it. I didn't even think this was real. I know that's how good it is. It's delicious. It looks a lot like your father. I'll let you in a pinch this weekend all of this stuff, food and wine you can find, we have to go. I'm sorry, Becky, you know, I just have fun you guys. It looks like you got a good spread there.
