And yes, we made it to Friday. It's time for our main street Connecticut segment. A chance to showcase our local towns and cities and what they have to offer this week. We're in Westport News 12 Connecticut's Mark Sud. All is at body fit training. But oh, you're gonna get in real good shape here, Mark Becky. We are going to pump you up. Yeah, there are BFT locations all over the world. This is the only one in Connecticut. Now this started in Australia and actually the, the trainer, the guy that started this whole concept, uh, used to be a personal trainer for Princess Diana. I wanna give a quick shout out to my stepdaughter, Kim who works here. Let's go. Kim guys don't get me idea. She's taken. Ok. All right. Uh, I wanna introduce Gamma Blanco who is, uh, running the place here. And you've got, I mean, look, you open up at 5 a.m. you got a whole bunch of people here already. The 5 a.m. crew just completed the class session and now we have the 6 a.m. crew coming in today. So what, what is so different about the training you do? Here than other gyms. I think the key difference is that this was born out of, um, an athletic training program. So it's a more well rounded, um, uh, workout that includes cardio strength and recovery. That's something that's missed a lot in the offerings that we have today. Uh, Cam Faloon, who founded BFT, um, felt that there was a lack of true strength training offerings in the market and wanted to bring something that was more in line with what, how athletes train, right? And athletes don't train all out every day, right? They do strength, they do cardio and they have recovery days to make them, you know, more perform better. Now, it's interesting here and you can describe uh some of the screens here, we can kinda monitor your heart rate and everything, correct. So every class has a prescribed intensity, performance and intensity and we have prescribed zones that we want our members to target and the heart rates uh that we all wear, monitors the heart rate zones help us monitor where each member is, right? Are they pushing enough? Are they working hard enough or not or are they overtraining? So it's just as important to monitor if they're putting too much intensity, we don't wanna overtrain. You know, every class here is linked, meaning today's class was influenced by yesterday's class and we're influenced tomorrow's class. And the idea here is that we have a well rounded balanced approach to, to fitness and working out so that you can attend 4 to 5 times a week. In fact, our member base here, the average attendance is about five times a week, which is unheard of in the industry. Um It's really uncommon to see members um attend that often. And a large part of the reason is that how we structure our classes, right. We do have recovery days, we do have days where we slow it down, particularly during strength and then we have high intensity days. Like today, it's our shred class that incorporates cardio and strength and its higher intensity workout. All right. Thank you so much. Car. Uh, Gama. So these are evil 360 body composition tool mark just we just ran his analysis and overall muscle mass is very good. OK. That's work to be done on the fat loss. Obviously, for us is a good starting point is set a benchmark so that when we work out in there, we know what our goals are. All right. Well, take us in here. You got a machine for us, right? Ok, we have your heart monitor on right heart rate monitor is up on the screen. Kenny is going to show you that in. Is there it is. Now, what do I need to get at you at 85%? 85% what you're doing quite well, actually. Ok. All right, you're relatively fit. That means that you have to bring more intensity. 70% right now, what do you do is come in and explode up and down right up. There you go. That's it. That's good. Yes, I'm gonna feel this later a little faster. Bud a little faster. Who are we at now? 7273 in my arm. Bring it up. Come on, we want the right intensity, right. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Can you? Ok, Becky, I gotta tell you, this is amazing. I mean, so good. I mean, I love chocolate. Anyway. Um, really, can you tell the difference? Let's tell the difference. Artie Kla owns this makes the chocolate her chocolate cake, by the way is number one in Connecticut and in America for that matter, she has these amazing holiday chocolates, the Christmas trees and the turkeys. Tell us about those. Well, you know, when I started about 10 years ago, people came and said, do you make molded turkeys? And I said no. So I came up with this idea. This is actually a Turkish fig filled with HM Bourbon ganache dipped in chocolate and then hand painted and then you have some like Christmas decorations over here too. Yes, I'm gonna say is in the season already. Right. Right. Right. Uh Those are hand painted Christmas ornaments that we do every year. We have Christmas trees and each piece, I'm probably one of the only crazies. This is a passion project. I'm the only crazy who does hand painting on each and every piece of chocolate that we make like hours. Well, it does, there are 36 hours in a day. So we're OK. Um you have, uh, I mean, I, I can't even remember half of the things that you have here. Uh, you, you've also done, uh, you know, stuff for weddings, right? With painting chocolate on white chocolate. Yeah. So this is a fashion project. It's started with, there wasn't really a good, good high end artisan chocolate in the area 10 years ago and this is what came out of it. Wonderful.
