        Main Street Connecticut: Officials say Bridgeport Restaurant Week is 'an economic boon' for the city

        It's Friday and time for Main Street Connecticut. When we travel to our local towns and cities to see all they have offer.
        This week, News 12 Connecticut is in Bridgeport for Restaurant Week which started Sunday and it wraps up Saturday.
        At Ralph and Rich's you can get a $5 salad with the purchase of an entree.
        Bridgeport Restaurant Week is a way of showcasing restaurants and stimulating the local economy.
        Mayor Joe Ganim said Restaurant Week is "an economic boon" for the city.
        City officials say it features 30 local restaurants and brings "urgently needed" outside dollars into the city.
        Joseph's Steakhouse is participating.
        There's also Sabores Restaurant where orders over $20 receive a $5 discount.
        And Brick & Barrel where you can get a delicious Pulled Pork Sandwich for $13.
