Well, we've made it to Friday, everybody, and it's time for Main Street, Connecticut, a chance to showcase our local towns and cities and all the things that they have to offer. And today we are in Monroe. News 12 Connecticut's Mark Sudall is swinging around at Monroe Ninja Academy at 17 Enterprise Drive. Can you keep up with those kids behind you, Mark? I'm gonna sure try, Asia, that's for sure. I'm gonna try this move. All right. Ready? Oh Yes, you are. 00, hi, how are you? Uh, sorry, well, you know, we can't all be ninjas, right? It's low to the ground. It's for the kids right now, so to be a little fair, it's a lot of work, not just upper body. You gotta use the core to keep the legs up. It's tough, Joe the weatherman. And Joe Moroski, remember, uh, I used to do a little weather on News 12, uh, actually part of the, uh, Ninja Ninja Warrior, uh, tour as well. So, uh, tell us, you got the grand opening coming up this weekend, right? Literally tomorrow. It's gonna be, I mean, it has been. Rule one of Ninja, you try not to hold your breath when you're doing the course. I teach, I teach these guys, and it's not easy, right? Is it not easy? No, so you gotta, it's one of those conscious breathing opportunities that you have to kind of put into action here. But yeah, grand openings tomorrow. It's been a lot of hard work to get to this point and then in a week on the 16th we start classes, not just for kids, but we have adult classes as well at night. It's more of like an open training than a class for the adults, but we have birthday parties, corporate events, I mean, you name it, we got it. It's gonna be awesome and you have another location too in Stamford. We have Stanford. We have Windsor. We have Hamden. This is, yeah, this, so we have a lot of gyms, but this is the new, uh, the first one of the new franchise. So this is like the real deal, next level awesome. All right, we're gonna have you do your thing. Get up there and show us what you got. It's for you guys. Let's see. I'm gonna go that way. Here we go. Here we go. It's gonna be exciting, guys. Here he goes. Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe. Ah Did you blow? Thank you very much. Did you blow a kiss? What was that? I was yawning. Oh gee, uh, I love it. I love it to show us up. That was great. Well, you know, I, I am a ninja. You are a ninja, yes, and, uh, we appreciate, uh, all that you've done, and this is a great place. We wish you all the best. Thank you, and I hope maybe I'll stop by News 12 at some point, although I did try to come out of retirement for this last storm, and people were like, listen, you used to be good. I think you stick to Ninja. It was embarrassing. It was embarrassing. Hey, I owned up to it. It was a bad call, but what are you gonna do? I'm a ninja now. Great to see you. Good to see you, Mark.
