A popular Italian restaurant in Stony Brook Village opened back up after it was damaged by a fire.

As News 12 has reported, Luca was forced to shut down in January.

The Brookhaven Town building department deemed it unsafe.

The flames tore a hole through part of the roof.

The restaurant was hoping to reopen the weekend following the fire.
