A nonprofit organization has been preparing for over a week to serve hundreds of Thanksgiving meals to Long Island residents facing food insecurity.
Volunteers at the Interfaith Nutrition Network, or the INN, collected food to prepare the perfect holiday dinner with turkey and all the fixings.
Officials say it is important to make everyone feel included, especially during the holidays.
The Inn in Hempstead will open its doors Thursday at 10 a.m.
