Every year, the boxers raise money for charity, but this year's slate of fights hits close to home.
The nonprofit's co-founder, Matt Silver, needs a donor for a kidney transplant, and hopes this year's event can help spread the word.
The Fight for Charity will be held Nov. 20 at the Hilton Long Island in Melville.
