There are allegations of sexual abuse at an Oceanside pizzeria after an alleged incident with a young employee.
The Nassau County District Attorney's Office and court documents say 61-year-oldJoseph Piccolo is the owner of Pizzaiola and is facing charges for sexual abuse, forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child.
Court documents say it happened at the pizzeria on Aug. 10 around 9:30 p.m.
The court documents say Piccolo asked the victim to come into his private office because he wanted to give them extra money and then closed the door behind them.
Court documents say he then gave the victim $200 in cash and then kissed and touched them.
Court documents say Piccolo was arrested five days after the incident.
News 12 reached out to his attorney but hasn't heard back.
A lawyer for the pizzeria says Piccolo is not the owner of the restaurant. He added that "as soon as ownership learned of his arrest, his employment was immediately terminated as Pizzaiola Oceanside does not condone the alleged conduct which is strictly prohibited by its sexual harassment policy."
